Skincare Spotlight: Aloe Attiva

About the Brand

If there's one thing I love, it's skincare! Especially if it's clean, ethically sourced, vegan, and cruelty-free. My favorite highlight about Aloe Attiva is that their skincare is made in Italy so they follow the European guidelines, excluding 1,300 ingredients (the U.S. only bans 11!)

Another plus about this brand that sets them apart from so many others is their products are completely waterless - another great reason to invest. Why spend your money on skincare when the main ingredient is water? Aloe Attiva's main ingredient aloe has SO many benefits for your skin. Synonymous with after-sun care, aloe contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin. Need I say more?!

Aloe Attiva currently offers two amazing products, the 3D Powerhydrator Cream + the 4X Powerlixir Serum. Layered together, your face will feel the best it's ever felt.

The Perfect Skincare Duo

• 4X Powerlixir Serum: Packed with 7 types of hyaluronic acids, plant-based collagen, and echinacea, this serum absorbs quickly into your skin. Echinacea is an amazing antioxidant that is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, promoting skin hydration and elasticity. Echinacea’s antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties work together to slow the growth of Propionibacterium, a common acne culprit. I like to use this serum as the first step in my skincare routine because of how hydrating + soft it makes my skin feel. Unlike other serums it won't leave your skin feeling oily.

• 3D Powerhydrator Cream: Infused with goji berry, beech tree bud extract, and sugar beet this face cream soothes and renews. After applying the serum I follow with this light-weight moisturizer. It is the topping on the cake! You can even double this product as a face mask. I like to apply a thick layer, leave it on for 10-15 minutes, gently wipe off and massage the remaining product into skin. Viola!
